Is anyone else being told that everyone is locked into a 2% or less raise even if your job is not getting a pay increase? I'm in claims, have been here 28+ yrs, have always gotten exceeds on my evals, until this yr. As far as I know, claims is NOT getting a pay increase. However my work load has doubled with having to deal with DSD, all of the clearace in the store and still do my job as well. It makes no sense. Walmart doesn't give a rats azz about its associates. Time to go.

I'm hoping they will eliminate claims so I can have severance because there was rumors for the past few years it was being eliminated but if not a few more months and I can keep my discount card and leave the hell hole that this company has become.
@1kyh+19Hzzkk8: I pray for that every day. There was hope of it happening a few years ago, instead they just keep piling the work on.
Don't you just wish that they would eliminate your position so you can take the severance and look for another job?
2% another reason I left after 20 years. I’m not waiting for high school students at the home office to figure the company out. We all don’t work the same but 2% is a joke.
The Home Office has gone to a burn and churn, aka forced rankings, aka the Hunger Games method for their evaluations where the scores no longer matter. (They started this around 2010 when I was still in the Home Office.) You play their game or you get a poor which puts a target on your back for termination.
