Is RSIguard or Forgetmenot Spying on me?

I cant help but think these programs are monitoring activity that is accessable to management. At first I just thought Skype's activity was the extent of it but I'm pretty sure I was wrong...Since this occurance I've turned my mic off & covered my work laptop camera with a stamp when I work from home.

If there's spyware software, you can bet it's not RSIguard. It's some deeply hidden software that companies use. Google them, then you can check if the tell tale signs are on your machines. Given how the phones are not even truly secured unless you go through the steps to install email on it, my bet is even if it is there... it's misconfigured. Typical XOM

I had ergo issues and they tried to pull my RSI Guard data, they couldn’t do it so they contacted RSI directly and they told them they had to get my permission.

@1knn+1fxoggcU You can just set the RSI Guard settings to never lock your keyboard/mouse and only ask you after you’ve 24 hours of your laptop being unlocked. Much simpler solution since it never gets overwritten.

I was putting black tape on my camera many years ago. Sure, not enough resources to monitor everyone, but occasionally and random? It could be that moment you don’t want seen.

They’ve been running badge reports forever as a way to see who comes into the office and who is goofing off by traveling around campus. Be careful out there folks, they are watching.

Watch out for those wearing Apple Watches, they can and will record your conversations.

You do realize that there is an uninstall program in the software center, for RSIGuard ? You have to install the uninstaller (I know - it sounds like a joke, huh ?) Anyway, I did that and never had RSIGuard running on my machine. However, I did have to install the uninstaller program every time that they updated or renewed the Group Policy on my laptop.

I uninstalled the program because it was just too intrusive and annoying, not because I was worried that it was tracking keyboard use. I remember at least 2 meetings where someone's presentation ground to a halt for a few minutes, because RSIGuard said that it was time for a break and deactivated the keyboard and mouse.

Yes. Your computing equipment including company phone is property of EM.
And when you are using it, so are you.
Even more so when you are not using it.
Nothing new.

At least they aren't sorting through your garbage at night outside your house.
Days of old.

Everything is spying on you. Keyloggers, motion sensors, the whole 9. Keep your camera covered.
