Looks more like going back down to where the markets actually say it should be. $2. None of the deals mentioned mean a whole lot when you factor in the CAPEX needed for those deals to execute. Fiber is a commodity and not a lucrative item. Verizon can do fiber laydown much faster.
Pumped Hype. It happens a lot in the markets. Q2 numbers were flat or below. Most analysts have target $2-3. There's no balance sheet that support $7. But maybe you can ride the wave and push it to $10, then short it and make lots of money.

Stansbury saying the losses will continue for the next couple of years doesn't seem to bode well for the organization. Lots of smaller fiber companies in markets with better customer support that Lumen will need to deal with while they continue the build out and pay off debt. This company has been trying to turn a profit since Bell said "Watson, come here I need you". If they can't turn a profit for another 5 years, the company won't be called Lumen, I'm almost sure of that.
