Good grief I hope they do not hire another azzh@t from John Deere. Farmers hate Deere and all the BS electronics / repair policies that come with their farming equipment. The new equipment is unaffordable and this has been going on for 10+ years. Right to repair started with all the malarkey from JD.

@1kbp I doubt anyone in the family has the cajones to stand up to Billy. Its too bad that Henry II isnt around anymore, because he would take Billy behind the garage and beat the !@#$ out of him, take his lolly pop and send him off to do charity work. As for Farley, I thought he would be gone right about now, but he probably has the family buffaloed into thinking that he is the right one to turn this fiasco around.

Listening to the earnings call, I heard a few things:
Farley needs work on his script reading, he still sounds like a fifth grader reading his homework paper in class.
Not one of the analysts that spoke started their comments with “Great quarter, Jim!”
When Farley was talking about add on products we are working on, he referred to one as “safety and security package,” and went on to describe what they had been calling “canopy,” the beginning of the end of Ford Next?
The analysts didn’t seem to find the EV production ramp up claims believable.
Farley mentioned we are trying to be more like John Deere’s business model, and I’ve heard rumors that Bill is interested in hiring Deere’s CEO to replace Farley.

Stock is tanking today, market cap now below GM. Will Phoebe at the Free Ford Press print a news release about that?

When will the Fordvfamily wake up and fire Bill and Farley?

Read this article about Chinese EVs.

U.S. politicians won’t lift a finger to stop this.

Ford is toast.

It isn’t uncommon that Ford stock goes down after good news. I used to try to figure out why. Now I just don’t give a sh-t because I don’t own any.

Stock price goes up as the company makes profit. To make profit company needs to make something that the customers want. Customers don’t want electric vehicles.. you can figure out the rest. Unfortunately people running the company can’t figure that out. They will probably end up paying millions and millions of dollars to some consulting company to figure that out for them.

I’m no fan of Ford stock lately, but the whole market is down, so hard to read much specific to Ford.
