Did you intend your comment for me?

Yahoo finance chart shows Oxy with a 5yr return of -13.38%.

CVX is +26.5%
PXD is +52%
Hess is +163%
COP is +84%

Oxy is a clear laggard which was my point. Everyone seems to think Vicki is great and a bunch of cheerleaders point to Oxy having best 1yr return in S&P a couple years ago but the real picture is Oxy is an underperformer

@1jmn+1qlRipY2, look at Oxy’s performance over the last five years compared to its peers. Still feel good?

@1jmn+1qlRipY2 is 100% correct. And the comment about buying on the dip is true about any public company. Sure, if you buy any stock “on a dip”, you’re going to do well. Most investors buy over a period of time, not just once.

You are one funny dude. The only reason Oxy led the S&P is because they were the absolute worst performing stock in 2020.

What was Oxy’s share price and dividend pre-Anadarko acquisition and how has Oxy performed relative to their peer group over the past 4+ years? Negative total return and dividend slashed.

Oxy’s leadership team has destroyed shareholder value but they sure put a good spin on things.

Let’s see how Crownrock turns out.

You have a short term memory problem bruv. 2022 Oxy led the S&P500. And, if you bought on the dip you made money in 2023 as well. Maybe your resolution should be to take an investing 101 course.
