Still trying to recover after the precipitous drop from the September 2023 high.

We should be operating with 55-60k employees.

Fix the technical debt and that becomes a possibility. At $53.8B of revenue divided by 85,000 employees as a guess after the current layoff is $633K in revenue per employee which would be the envy of many companies. At 60K employees it's almost $900K and at 55K employees it's approaching $1M which is truly rarefied air. Arista started much later in a much more narrow segment of the market and is doing far better, but Juniper has been around for a long time while still occupying a narrower spectrum of businesses and is well behind Cisco. The advantage of being in as many businesses as Cisco is you dwarf your competitors and can better tolerate weakness in individual market segments, and the disadvantage is when one segment explodes the value is diluted by the rest of the business.

@1jhz+1v22BhAi We should be operating with 55-60k employees. We have too much fat. Stock price would reflect 68-74/share
