Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

There will be cuts after inflated "comps" subside

Once the inflates numbers fall off and record sales numbers that resulted from boredom and morally questionable advertising, if the supply chain drops or business just hits a wall as it does after the 100 days there will most definitely be cuts. This would explain why parameters for full time were clearly defined at 32 hours and no minimum for part time. Lowes is very predictable.

That could be said for ANY business or company.

For goodness sakes I do not and will not ever understand the doom/gloom/chicken little/eeyore mentality that is so prevalent on here.

Of course there will be cuts, it's the Lowe's way. If most stores are like mine we're going to need time to put it back in order from the panic buying. While most retailers are refusing returns on items bought during this time Lowe's welcomes them back with open arms, heard a manager tell customers that returns had been extended to 180 days and a year if you use a Lowe's credit card. Be prepared for the returns of half used gallons of paint (really, it took half a gallon of paint to discover you guys mixed the wrong color).
