Some groups, for example , sales, are reeling with massive exodus building up. The SEMs and SEDs are struggling to find people to take the work load and are dumping twice as much work ( sometimes more) on remaining people without a second thought.
It’s all very well for the ELT to ask people to “breathe” at company webinars, but it’s a totally different story to actually monitor if that is happening across the board. In UK, the Force of fiefdom is strong and this is the scenario. People are being dumped with way more work than they can actually handle and they are quitting or moving internally. The only answer management has is to “delegate” the work among others citing “efficiency “. On an average you have close to 6-7 hrs of WebEx calls a day and then, after that, you need time and energy to do your actual work. So if the remaining people don’t do “quiet quitting” then when do they “breathe”?
