I’ve never seen the word “gaslighting” used in the proper context here.
When people here use it, the mostly mean “management telling me things I don’t like and hope aren’t actually true”. At least people stopped claiming to be getting hired by FAANGs (with zero computer skills) for 980% pay increases, which, ironically, is closer to actual gaslighting.
Anybody else have any delusions of grandeur, cultural grievances, or childish tirades they want to post? How about the site’s recently PIP’d MAGA power user? It’s been a few hours since we’ve had a rant about DEI. He’s overdue.
