Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

When did you lose trust in leadership?

I am almost certain that the result of an anonymous survey on how much SF employees trust leadership would show that almost no one trusts them. There are many reasons for that. I stopped trusting them the moment my colleague who was one of the best employees was laid off. It was then I saw that the people at the top have no interest in their employees but only think about profit.

1996 and ACC was the beginning of the end. We’ve been short staffed ever since.

We seem to have lost the importance of strong leaders and instead promoted folks with no leadership skill and ability to have followers. I cant think of many in this regime that will be long remembered as great leaders but rather drivers.

Auto is a mess right now due to the lack of staffing in the last 18months. VPOs promised that this would never happen again. It is happened. We've hired a bunch of IAs at a great expense and lesser quality. Who fell asleep at the wheel? Every time we indicated the need for more staffing, it was ignored. Well at least someone got a big bonus, and we can trust leadership, they're on it.

When were people laid off? Was he fired? Maybe he was doing things you were not aware of, Ive seen good people get fired and found out from a social TM they were faking their punch ins and punch outs to avoid being late/returning late.

Personally I never had trust, im not a trusting person, i dont know the CEO, and i never trust anyone in a position of power. But lets not make stuff up to push that opinion, it will do well enough on its own.
