@lisc –– I do not mind at all. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The way they treat their employees is truly horrific. I worked there for 4 years and only just recently left. The two key areas of importance for them is profits and public perception. For every positive, well–worded press release that comes out touting raises for employees or other wonderful things they are doing for their associates –– multiple things are being taken from them to cover the change, ie hours cuts, no OT, hiring freezes. etc. The public is never getting the true picture of what is really happening –– and this is by deliberate design. Who asks their employees to stay late to finish projects, etc. –– only to tell these employees at the end of the week they need to go home early, or take an extended lunch hour –– to "eat" any overtime that might be coming their way. This is outrageous –– and apparently legal. Some of the things I have seen (especially since Covid) has left such a bad taste that I barely set foot in a Walmart anymore. People do need to be aware of what is happening with this organization. Most people just want to be treated with dignity and respect –– and this is a very rare thing in the current Walmart working environment.

People SHOULD know what Walmart does and how they treat their employees. Maybe then they would shop elsewhere and Walmart would actually have to change their ways when it effects their profits. AWFUL company and they treat their employees like dirt.

Don't cut your nose off to spite your face. Another words don't make decisions based off emotions. Yes it may be time for you to leave Walmart, it maybe time for us all but I'll be darned if I'm going to money to cut all ties with Walmart. As long as stock is up I will continue to invest.
