DV, of WeWork fame, has resigned for a new opportunity. His last day will be end of next week.
In addition, AY, Engineering VP for Field Experience, is also resigning for a new opportunity.
Hmmmmm...

Corporate culture full of contradictions: news at 11.
DG hired a remote VP? Oh no, a corporate inconsistency!!! Quick, let’s complain on the weekend.
You people are so boring and predictable. I wish you a long career at NM, because that’s where you belong.
it is as much of our culture as this 'in person' nonsense. so much so DG just hired another VP that surprise, surprise, will be remote.
But, but...the whole lunch thing is part of our unique culture that bring us all together, right? Lol. The food, usually served cold, has become increasingly disgusting--probably by design. I can take it or leave it.
DR has talked openly about the possible need to remove the current lunch benefit. One rare instance where he isn’t the most soulless person on SLT, it’s per tax code changes related to employee benefits has been his talking points. Someone can investigate the benefits piece, worst person on SLT is a fact.
Pretending you can’t take an extra slice of pizza is laughable. NM spends millions on food and cafeteria staff and you still manage to complain about lack of ice cream and post questions about the weekend about needing more food options.
Stop pretending you care about how money is spent when it involves someone else. Start advocating for cutting where it actually matters (10+ million in free food).
DR has been notably absent from Town Halls and hasn't sent out any survey results in a long time. The company continues to make cuts weekly and keep things silent. NM is rotting from within as the DEI cancer continues to spread and destroy this once great company.
All of our leaders are remote or in the NYC campus. Fly them to Milwaukee to be with their people to be part of NM experience and connect NM will pay for everything. Minions make sure you don’t take an extra piece of pizza we are over budget!
The class system here at NM is laughable to the point the HR person suggested connecting to the mental health line because things are so bad with the employee / contractor cuts. Why doesn’t HR want the last OHE results out, we have a feeling why?
ESD closed all open positions sometime last week just look at the careers site. Only one remote quite the pivot from be open to remote work.
Most of the diversity hires are leaving for green pastures after completing 3 years.
If our c-suite’s are dancing with WIT, does that mean they believe in diversity? Nah it means they are having fun time!!!
@DR - If we believe in diversity then why did the Rusk Service HR left?
DV was a joke in terms of a data executive but so is AG. How and why is she there? Diversity?! CM will probably figure out soon (hopefully).
AY is a good riddance as well. Talked a big game, not outcomes to show. Her only fame is the world record she holds for using the word “like”.
AY's departure will not be an improvement to that area, at least in the short run. The (temporary?) fill-in is already over his head in the role he started 6 weeks ago and has much to learn about the lack of actual importance/power/influence of the ESD org.
His best highlight thus far is sharing far and wide that he came to NM as his last company was going back to an in office policy and he didn't want to be in an office all the time. He's a remote employee who will remain that way as well.
Is the company finally realizing that diversity hires don't equate to quality hires? This is a good start but a lot more trash to clean up and an entire NYC office to shutdown.
Good riddance AY. I was in her org for two years; very old school command and control leadership and not at all effective at driving her org forward. She wasn’t from LV but was on par with the terrible LV leadership we’ve had to deal with in the past. Adios.
@1ims+1omvzdR2 AY started in 2019, so she probably is just a tad over 3 years as well.
Used to be that all the NY/learnvest/non-WI leaders would leave after their 3 year to make sure they get their $$. DV is at that point about now I think. Don't know about AY.
During his time at NM, DV aged like Obama did during his presidency.
I guess pretending to know what you're doing here was more stressful than WeBroke and baseball. Watching that dude try to navigate conversations with true SMEs and experts was comical.
