The workload seems to be decreasing in my group. Not sure if it’s due to EU MDR winding down or something else. Some days there isn’t a lot to do. It’s both boring and unsettling.

Unless you are part of margin restoration and cost containment. The MDT Mindset is not working as Geoff expected.
In regulatory? Probably yea...in my business almost all the reg folks are Indian anyway. Now R&D, IT, Quality...those are different ball games.

I'm guessing you're in Reg...workload is dependent on the business you're in. You should know your own pipeline and if it's drying up...that should tell you a RIF is coming.
You will be RIF along with all US based employees, in favor of Indians and Irish the senior executives are proud to pay pennies for wages.
Use that time to update your resume because you are on the RIF chopping block.
