I’m ready to go. I’m hoping the VRP will be offered in IT.

Reality is that many 30-year employees are exiting through layoffs and personal decisions. They are also receiving the signal they are no longer valued as in the past. Good luck to the newer employees that will contend with the knowledge and experience gap that will remain.

@9icv+1qBmirSV it is true HR admins who used to process payroll but are now assisting the zone on how to process payroll were told they don't qualify for the VRP. I received an email stating people in my position are not eligible. The reason that was given is because we are technically HR Corp. Maybe other HRCs can take the package

Agree - whenever the executives start exiting it’s like the rats are jumping ship because they actually don’t want to be associated with the dumpster fire that is about to come. I’ve watched about 5-6 executives leave in the last 1.5 years which wasn’t common.

Not true that HR admins aren’t eligible. I know HR coordinators that are eligible. They are going to thin out HR HC field and HQ. Just watch in Feb/March. The shuffling and consolidation will behin

With Hugh & Kirk exiting, that should be a big clue that a big shake up has happened or going to. Either that, or there was some disagreements at the executive table and they were told to exit or be embarrassed. Not as if they were given some lousy VRP package like the little people get. Hugh & Kirk are well stacked with wealth and will still be bringing in millions at their next jobs.

Are VRP’s offered to Pepsi employees? Or is it just for FL employees?

Terminate dead-weight director/VP types and disperse their severance to the productive individuals who were cut in prior rifts.

What makes you think there are going to be layoffs? I think early retirement is offered every year. Low hanging fruit. If you are worried about a layoff get your resume in shape and look for a new opportunity.

@1mvd+1qBmirSV us payroll admins (I am one of them) are considered HR. We were sent an email that none of us will be able to take the VRP. I have the years of service, but not the age. I was told 4 years ago about my job being eliminated, still here since
they can't get payroll fully off our
plates. I think we are safe for 2024
based on what they tell us.

To those that were rebadged and came back your years of service are only since you came back.

@1mvd+1qBmirSV: it's difficult to determine if HR is trolling this site, so a jab at them is taken every single chance.

@1iaz+1qBmirSV they can't get rid of us payroll admins because even though they have given work to the districts it is still a mess. I just let the districts process the payroll, they do it wrong and they still need me to fix it. I was told in 2020 I would get a package when payroll is moved, yet I am still here fixing all of the errors.

@1ily+1qBmirSV you clearly don't understand that my post about payroll admins is not a "dangle" to see what you refer to yourself as a minion are gossiping about. I look forward to the day they give me my VRP

Why do the food folks get all of the VRP seduction?

When will the beverage-side see such an offer?

Love when HR dangles a thread on this site hoping to see what the minions are gossiping about. Please crawl back into your mole hole and come out on Ground Hog day to only see your shadow.

To the payroll admin, why can’t they get rid of you? They basically put it all on the district’s already, so you are overstating your importance.

I would be thrilled with a package now but I’m one year short of turning 65 (I have 6 years service now but not enough until next year). This company has done nothing to warrant any more of the precious time I have left. It is run by nasty people devoid of any sense of humanity. I have been in the workforce since 1978 and this is by far the most vile organization I’ve ever been associated with. Now even some of their marquee products are toxic - seems sad (for the consumer) but fitting for this company. Good riddance!

When is the deadline to take voluntary retirement? If layoffs occur, likely several weeks following.

What is PFUS? Is it more than HQ? Anyone in the field? I’d take it and spare someone there’s other work out there for me
