I sometimes think that it has to do with me, that I no longer have the motivation to work, so that I am no longer a good employee who gives 110 percent of himself. Do you ever find yourself in a self-critical phase? Then, when I think about it a little better, it really doesn't have a whole lot to do with me, they really do have increasingly unrealistic expectations of their employees.

I don't think anyone with over 3 decades of service and multiple high ratings, topped out, and very knowledgeable of operations can be referred to as a loser. Some things that are mentioned on this site are definitely concerning and should be addressed with an open mind. Business is not my way or the highway.
@1hok. I think that’s unfair. I have several decades in Operations and Agency. I’m not sure most State Farm employees are incompetent…..but I am sure most State Farm employees are being held accountable for results that they can’t possible achieve.
As for being evidenced by losers on this site; Well, that’s the same half a dozen people posting the same garbage over and over. We can agree they are both incompetent, and losers.
Most SF employees are average at best. Most could not find employment beyond SF as evidenced by the parade of losers that post on this site. They complain how bad it is yet have no ability to move beyond SF. They are like inmates in a prison saying the jury got it wrong despite overwhelming evidence showing their guilt.
Not meeting their goals? Gives them an excuse to kick you to the curb. Making you ineligible for unemployment benefits for being fired with cause. Rat bas***ds!
If you begin to understand the dr-gs their dealing, the sooner you will be healthier and not be addicted.

This sweat shop environment is by design. The sense of work urgency is deliberately created by reducing workforce, and write more polices at the same time. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the math doesn't add up. As a result, we are all feeling the way you do. Do not blame yourself, this is all part of upper executive's plan to create this suffocating environment.
