Not true - switches are built from scratch using Broadcom, Intel, Microchip and many other companies’ silicon, hardware and software, all bolted together by Foxconn.

Cisco doesn't have engineering, development, or research. We sell and maintain acquired products.
Research & engineering is conducted through acquisitions.

internet is still going strong, so enterprise and SPs all need cisco boxes. hahahahaha, that was true 10 years ago. AWS has been eating our lunch for the past 10 years. hahahaha.
