Nope. I had to fight tooth and nail and finally bring up the words "ADA" and "lawyer" to get them to approve my work from home instead of hybrid. I like it better. No driving to an office. Wear what I want.
And best of all no dealing with office bullies and being teased due to my disorder and being forced to fork over $ for other people who are getting married or having a baby even if it is someone I don't like. (But yeah no one ever remembered my birthday :-() I am happier just working and not dealing with the office politics and drama.
I guess it sucks because now managers will have to not use personal bias when evaluating us

The days of in-office work are over folks. Sorry you don’t like working from home, but that is how Allstate wants to do biz. It’s not your parents working world anymore. You millennials miss it huh? Your going to have to find ways to get out of the house cuz Allstate is not doing that for you anymore You will work your 10-12 at home. Your commute time is given back to Allstate. You can do thrive Thursdays to make up for your lack of socializing at work. The boys have this all figured out. Get an on line coach. You’ll be fine. Especially when you get to leave this dung ho-e.

I hate commuting an hour one way. Let me stay home.

I'd rather be miserable in the office. Tired of being miserable in my own home. Looking forward to April when we go back in.

@1hcq+1fd6Tuyb those are some ignorant generalizations, especially considering all the data shows WFH to be significantly more productive than in office work

WFH or I'm gone. I'm not going back to commuting to the Mart downtown.

Work From Home was okay the first 6 months. But tired of it now. I want to be back in the office like a business should be. Working from home full time is not normal healthy work. It served its purpose during the pandemic but it is time to get back to a normal work environment and not in an office at home.

Our team as a whole wants to do hybrid. Full time WFH has run its course with many. And with Allstate not selling as much real estate and still paying for the upkeep you can bet they will be getting departments and areas back in the office in at least a partial basis. I embrace a move to hybrid and still having a WFH option due to illness and weather when needed. You would be surprised how many of us are wanting hybrid to become the new norm. And those that we know that want to remain full time WFH tend to be in most cases, but not all to be fair, those who don't exactly pull their weight or want to work their fair share or who do not have the best work ethic or drive to succeed. And in the eyes of TPTB those who refuse the hybrid are easy cuts with no severance or unemployment in many cases.

Yes! I want to do hybrid so I'm in the office 2 or 3 days a week just to switch things up
