Based on this weeks performance I’m guessing we meet estimates on the 21st and finish down for the day. There is zero faith in the board and no one is buying into “we are right around the corner from returning to historic company performance”. Board should have dumped GM 6 months ago, we continue to pay the price for their horrendous leadership while they roll in wealth.

Feels like this round of stock price decline is a dead cat bouncing off of all the previous dead cats. We are going to get charged with animal cruelty eventually.

“Medtronic marketers take more time making the fancy deck about the results, than actually driving those results.“

Sounds like most management here…but hey, let’s hire more managers because that drives results right? No need to add anybody besides managers.

Lol sales dude doesn’t even know how devices are billed. Not all contracts are guaranteed $. Some are just option to buy up to X for Y$. That option is only exercised at implant, and usually every device category is contracted with 2 vendors minimum. This true across most sectors.

Yes. Some contracts are locked in $ months ago, but there are some that are not. And that is where competition can get share.

Lmao, clowns like you arent even aware that everything we sell is contracted out months ahead. Do you think there is a conspiracy in which all other 20 Med companies are stealing Medtronic's shares lol? Do you promise to eat your words on earnings day if we dont see Market share loss?

Typical marketer lmao. "sales are market dependent" LOL

Has no actual talent or skill. Basically just relying on natural market growth and pretending he did something to achieve it. Medtronic marketers take more time making the fancy deck about the results, than actually driving those results.

“Earnings will be good. Atleast for now. All our big or small competitors have posted good earnings “

Ride the short bus? Competitors are posting good earnings because they gained mkt share. Who do you think they gained that mkt share from?

I guess GM will be safe for now.

Earnings will be good. Atleast for now. All our big or small competitors have posted good earnings. Sales are market dependent and things are going good in terms of that. Stock market is not equal to economy

Guys, we need to work harder and harder. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Earnings will be released just in time for thanksgiving. Now we can all bow our heads and give thanks to the board for allowing us to pay the price for their unbelievably bad management. I’m just hoping our Christmas presents aren’t more RIFFs.

Dead cat bounce to stock price. Don’t worry GM’s short positions will still payoff Nov 21st.

Don’t forget about Covid affecting supply chain. That excuse has to still have some legs to it.
