Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Have you ever noticed?

How the competition’s boards are so quiet?

Allstate is a miserable company to work for.

You’re fundamentally wrong, as an insider executive there. But you keep thinking what you’d like, lol.
Pune or any other country isn’t coming for our jobs.

I think they must be using another board. It’s likely even worse at other carriers.

saz+1cmsWsqH The only way to build wealth is to take advantage of other people in one way or another. Jeff Bezos is the richest man in the world, look how Amazon employees are treated. This is obviously an extreme example, but consider any business, property owner, etc. It’s all getting others to work or pay you so you make a profit. So consider if you are a major stockholder with Allstate, do you give a sh-t how claims robot 678433 doesn’t like their job? No. As long as they do it (or someone else does) and you keep reaping the benefits that’s all that matters. Wealth is ALWAYS built this way. You’re either the one taking advantage or the one being taken advantage of (or depending on your scenario you can be both, ie you work for Allstate but also own a rental property). That’s how the game works BOYO, wha’chu gon do about it??!

@1dgd+1cmsWsqH And yet here you are, posting on this site. If you have a life then get off a layoff forum.

Hypocritical at best

The competition's workforce is largely overseas, they don't complain like spoiled American grunts.
Probably why allstate is trying to do the same

It's just greed. You can get away with just about anything in America as long as you're making a profit.

SF and LM seem to be the same as this place in terms of extremely frustrated and neglected claims employees. It seems so odd that such prominent corporations treat their employees like garbage and the effect is higher stock value, it completely baffles me and makes no sense from any angle I look at it. Any company which treats employees with respect and dignity would have to be healthier both short and long term, it makes no sense to be so indifferent to such a massive amount of employees. And society just accepts this sort of sociopathy from businesses for some weird reasons I can’t understand.
