Anyone else hear the rumor EMD rolls up into an industrial division and walks away from our long term lease here? The VP has definitely lost the locker room. Literally tumbleweeds on the floor. And if they say no, do we trust that?

A bigger issue is why the VP cannot keep strong women in positions of leadership. Two on the Steering Committee left, two others were pushed out. That is the more problematic piece. Remember when used to do the "Leadership Attribute" mantras. Everybody in our group laughs about that now.
Anyone associated with Austin should be out asap.

JLL (easy to search or just type into your browser + .com) is the integrated facilities management (IFM) provider 3M has contracted with to run more and more (eventually all?) enterprise operations. They cost more and do less, but they allow 3M to shed some employees w/ benefits & pensions while shifting operations to an indirect spend. Plus they have an app and website interface that doesn't work. The clowns running EWS will throw up slides with colorful dashboards while telling you that 3M's enterprise ops are now achieving record response times to reported incidents and that the "global experience" is now more strategically aligned. Filtered through the BS meter that translates to "every 3M facility will have equally lousy service that you'd expect from the low bid that won the contract." Plus, JLL's performance metrics are as crooked as a dog's hind leg. Go to the website and submit a call for broken elevator or AC not working or your catering order being messed up. All someone at JLL has to do is acknowledge it via their phone and voila---100% on their response time! Now, they haven't done any work or fixed the problem, but they've acknowledged it! So JLL gets to tell Bald Bob and Wicked Wendy "another A+ on our response time!" Now, it might take a day or two or heck, a couple weeks to get a technician out to fix a broken piece of equipment but that's a minor detail. JLL's maintenance techs aren't there to really fix anything, they're there to help diagnose and pass it off to a qualified service provider.
What is JLL?
3M's COC team has failed it's employees greatly. There has been no accountability, only gross displays of finger pointing and pride. Our operations are being fully outsourced by teams of greedy consultants working to get their next bonus check, they are not invested in 3M, only getting theirs. This handover is essentially a controlled collapse. JLL will will eventually nickel and dime the company to death. Come clean MR, MP, PG and others, take some responsibility for your actions. Meanwhile, we'll be holding on to our handrails so very tightly. Thank for making bad decisions and then blaming your dedicated employees. Respect @0%, for those in need of metrics.
They should just close down EMD and merge into EMSD. Save a bunch of headcounts
