Continuing with my post from below...

The way it worked with VG was that Infosys took over day to day operations from VG. The client facing team like CSMs and RMs still worked for VG to give the impression of we still do the work. But people doing work with moved to Infosys.

I can't speak about how much of this is true at tiaa, but this is nothing new. It has happened many times so there is a high chance that it can happen at tiaa if it saves money.

From what I know about sastry, he will sell his own mother if you give him the right price.

I would say it's coming.

For those wondering if it is true or how it works. Here is the link that has news about VG. Basically most of it is just regular corporate bull sh-t. The main point is 1300 people were moved to Infosys with comparable pay and benefits for a year. You can guess what happened to them after exactly a year. They worked for a year to train their cheaper replacement and then were let go. Also, this is nothing new. Google HCL rebadging xerox or state farm. Also Verizon did it with HCL or Infosys. There is a link to that at bottom as well.

Your options: either start looking for new job or career. Or move over to new company enjoy that pay and benefits for a year and then leave.
This is a way to get rid of you without getting rid of your knowledge. Management makes sh-t load of money by doing that it seems. At least that's what I found with my quick research here.

@1eot. There is a Town Hall for a certain business area at the end of May. The announcement will probably be said at that time BUT the vendors name won't be made until June. That's probably what the other person meant.

@1ypw. If we become Accenture employees, does this mean we are no longer affiliated with TIAA? If so, then we should be allowed to withdraw our 401k money... right?

There is no hiring coming. Layoffs are on pause until September. Next month they announce the deal with Accenture where they will give employees a choice to become Accenture employees or become unemployed. There will be no severance package for those who choose not to go to Accenture.

Maybe they limit it to Frisco only?

Does this mean the hiring freeze is over?

No way this happens in the short term. Financials don't look at all which is a sad state of affairs knowing that we have a backdrop of record high markets.
