Thankfully, I left 3 years ago (and never looked back). I've said this for years. The entire upper management doesn't have a clue. The amount of times they started projects and changed directions was enough proof for me. Going with solutions just to rip it out a year later and make an excuse that it doesn't work in the infrastructure. No one knows how to analyze use cases and build strategy properly and the amount money they waste is astounding. And they get paid big money to be complete failures - the entire leadership team! Get a grip ascension - you're losing!

Ive been pulling reports on misrouted network team tickets from SN and it's shocking the volume of tickets, the breaching of SLAs, and the suggested solutions in those tickets from HCl india and passing of tickets around trying to resolve things.
Bottom line that leadership failed to address is the fact you need skilled workers at the local level to do these tasks. Complex hands on work cannot be done by FS or a network engineer working in India. This truly shows that leadership has absolutely no clue how to actually do the work. They earned their MBAs but never ever came through the ranks learning the trade. Until you stand in someone else's shoes you'll never understand what they go through.

Ascension is a text book case of the Peter Principle, all that's left is an ocean of incompetence and denial.
A business decision, yeah right. Gonna have to make some real business decisions soon.

@2ctw+1ehl7Lwd - You're right, Gerry, Eduardo, etc. will never admit they made a mistake and they will never backtrack but one day the clinical leadership side will sh----n them and the work will be brought back inhouse. These IT outsourcings by US companies and other organizations go in waves and the tide will eventually turn. They probably won't bring very many people back, it will happen after most of us have retired but it will occur, it always does...

Saving a lot of money=You get what you pay for.

They won't bring anyone back. Ederola won't admit he made a mistake, nor will anyone who went along with this plan of theirs aka 'This thing of ours.'

More layoffs could help?

HCL and TechM folks are struggling and have no idea how/where to assign tickets. Physicians/nurses/support staff are tired of calling and just learning to live with issues. So eventually Jerry will see his drop in call numbers...

@1eih+1ehl7Lwd - Very few AT employees left and the ones that are left are working on standing up new equipment/applications and bailing out HCL, Tech M, etc. employees when something breaks really bad and they can't figure out how to fix it. There are also AT employees who work on managing the relationship between the subcontracting companies and Ascension. It's a big-time cluster fu-k though, can't find anyone who knows anything about the legacy equipment and applications but they are saving a shitload of money on salaries that they no longer have to pay, even despite the big bonuses Ascension is paying out to Gerry and his underling e-level managers...

Who's left?

Not surprised. They will eventually bring most of not all back in-house and that will be a huge fluster cuck in and of itself!
