Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing a director fail at HyVee. I’ve seen so many drive the bus over fellow manager of to look good to move up the rank. They will give up everything. treat everyone around them as a chess piece just to be given the chance to be a director. They will kn--e you in the back and just say it’s business. The best part is most of us see HyVee isn’t what it used to be and leave for new careers and not wasting anymore time trying to chase that dream of being a director. For those that run over everyone to become a store director then get fired or quit with in two year of being a director. My question to you is was it worth it. You gave it all to HyVee and thought once you made director you would make that money and get respect from the ceo. The reality is you walk away from HyVee knowing you gave it all and now you are screwed because it didn’t work out. You sold your soul to HyVee tot just have them kick you out the door lol. You ever wonder why they always have openings for store manager or directors. It’s because it’s a sh-t job.

@1efg+1mBpN4XY There is not one store manager in the company that makes 100k salary. There are many department heads that make more than store managers. The average store manager salary is 78k. When you do the math at 80 hours per week at the average wage, including what overtime would have paid, the store manager makes $15 per hour. This is exactly why no one wants to do it, or they try it and burn out.

What did I miss? Who was demoted
Well I glad to see no position is safe at HyVee. Store directors try to run their stores like they are mini Randy’s and in the end they get fired or quit Lol. Treat employees how you want to be treated.
Sour grapes much?
Store director and store managers are over paid. They should cap all store directors and store manager to 100k. Randy isn’t getting results with paying them 400 plus k a years. Why not save the money and give them a pay cut. If they don’t like it they should hit the door since they can’t get the results we need anyways.
It’s always nice to see a jerk of store director fail and to see them kick to the curb. All of there hopes and dreams are gone. most HyVee store directors won’t make the money they made when they were at HyVee.
There will always be the Eric Kracuin of the Hy-Vee culture to make everyone’s life miserable. Please tell me what he has accomplished, again I ask accomplished to lead 2 stores.
