Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Since TIAA is considered Federal Contractors, will Trump Exec Order about FULL RTO apply???

If you recall during the plandemic, TIAA was subject to the vack seen mandates. Since technically they are Federal Contractors, they were also subject to certain federal guidelines.

So with the Trump Executive Order signed just minutes ago, mandating that all Federal employees return to office full time, would that apply to TIAA?

OP. Please show us where it says TIAA is considered “Federal Contractors“.

Because… If it were the case T would have said full RTO 5 days starting February 3rd during the town hall yesterday else we could expect termination of employment without severance packages.

Potentially. The terminations for not vaccinating were blamed on similar federal contract requirements. Its possible leadership will use as an excuse similar to that situation to eliminate headcount without paying.

@1ed+1jj33b4z6 Maybe it will get rid of temu ceo for us.

No but seriously. Costco, Apple, several airlines and others aren’t bending the knee and TIAA won’t either because between our associates and participants, our business will fail miserably. Think how many participants would take their assets elsewhere should TIAA reverse course on DEI…

Trump’s No DEI rules seem like it will impact TIAA

@cs+1jj33b4z6 Love the post but not sure if your talking about OP or someone else’s post.

Seriously though the OP thinks we’re federal contractors/employees and would fall into the RTO order??? What in the actual F***???

We may provide services to the government entities but do not work for them nor have the security clearances they do. At least not until we’re bought out by them so we don’t continue the downward spiral of failure from our current leadership.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely id--tic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this chat is now d-mber for having read it.

Not a troll post, it was a genuine question. Also, I never had a need for Ivermectin, because I never caught C-19, despite all the fear-mongering from both our government and the company stating otherwise at the time.

But still, thanks for your response, albeit however snarky it may be.

No. They're contractors not Federal employees.

Troll post if I ever saw one. Love the purposeful misspellings OP. That ivermectin must be damaging your brain.

Do you know anything about the company at all?

They can wish in one hand and S#!T in another and see what fills up first. Can’t do full RTO because Charlotte is full. Maybe after Accenture and more folks are forced to move to them or layoffs then sure.

No. But TIAA executives might see this as a reason to bring back employees more than 3 days a week.
