Not one post about the company wide Citrix failure going on 3rd day?? I know not all departments use Citrix, but most all UW, Claims units still do, and it's been total work stoppage going on fourth day tomorrow. And this is not first time this has happened either. I say we petition PZ and other C-Suite Executives to forgo their pay raises and bonuses for one year..and use hat money to upgrade all systems. They can afford to give that up for one year..the rest of us middle classes cannot.

I see all outages in the tech stack regardless of region. No wide outages REPORTED. But understand one thing that’s happened is they changed the criteria for what constitutes a P1 or P2 outage. Makes the stats look better.
Plenty of people want to fix the system issues.
Need to find someone willing to pay to fix the system issues.
Okay so IT is telling system administrators of departments affected by Citrix xenapp failures including Wyse, wrong, assuming you all are right. That doesn't change the fact that the Claims, Uw, and others are Unable to Work when these outages happen.
This one went on for a whole week!! And it happens frequently since Accenture took over systems last year. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY P O* ACCOUNTS WE HAVE NOW BECAUSE WE CANT DO OUR JOBS CONSISTENTLY ANYMORE?
Several BIG accounts are leaving us. SO DOES ANYONE CARE TO FIX THE PROBLEM INSTEAD OF TEMPORARY PATCHES? OR IS IT BECAUSE IT IS ONLY A FEW DEPARTMENTS THAT ARE AFFECTED C-SUITE IS IGNORING?
Never-ending how much money and credibility AIG is losing in certain lines of business
I love it. Anytime someone disagrees with a post, the trolls come out and say “it’s HR again”… HR could care less about a Citrix issue. You don’t have to believe me but I know there were no system wide issues this week.
There is no company wide P1 outage in aig.
I've not heard anything mentioned at all.
That doesn't mean there isn't an outage causing a work stoppage for a particular region or area or app or group of people.
They probably mean the issue isn't specific to your device and is being worked at a higher level. They are explaining why you are being asked to wait vs somone working directly with you.
Citrix has been a mess from day 1
For what it's worth I believe the original poster. Systems in our area always go down whenever IT does an upgrade over the weekend. Been really bad since the "Accenture" agreement to handle IT began January 2022. Nothing has worked correctly since then.
It’s hr again. They are trying to paint a rosy picture, as they have nothing better to do. It’s after 5pm, so you won’t hear from them again today.
No, @zow+1m7nv1Ds, it is not normal for whole departments to be down and up and down and up for week or weeks at a time; even with this company's patchwork old, and really old, systems that can't mesh with Accenture's; and when the department system administrator says that they are told it's affecting anyone using Citrix/XenApp/Wyse in the company, I would tend to believe them over you.
Sounds like you are trying to gaslight the rest of us to question what we know is reality.
Why could that be, I wonder? How many units in AIG still use Citrix Wyse? Anyone know the answer to this? Or how many different Citrix XenApps does AIG have?
There’s just simply not a company wide outage. There are no major issues and haven’t been this week.
Sure, there may be a person here or there with an issue, but that’s normal.
That's what happens when you rif the IT department.
Wow. Isn't it interesting that some people can work just fine while others on same systems can't? My department has been down since Monday. Started with just few people but spread to rest of the unit. IT is saying it's affecting all departments company wide that use Citrix Xenapp or Wyse.
Same here. No issues getting on for past 3 days.
Everything works fine for me. Well, for "fine" I mean the same everyday mess of random systems failures here and there
