I’m a Chevron retiree and am still loyal to the brand. I have to wonder why employees & retirees still only receive a 10 cent per gallon discount. With fluctuating prices, it would make much more sense to give us a percentage discount, say at least 5% per gallon (or better). Is there any movement within the organization to make this happen?

@2lzi, same discount active employees get when they acquire a Chevron gas card.
@1dhk, Think big my friend. I would like a $4.35 per gallon discount, aka FREE.
Wait, you guys are getting discounts?
I would like to see a one dollar discount to reflect our hard working.
Oh please, stop it already.
Does anyone remember when employees and retirees with Chevron Gas cards received only a 5 cent discount per gallon? It’s 10 cents today. Your gripe should be placed at Chevron’s doorstep. Save it until November when you can place the blame for higher gas price squarely at the Democrats fault. Flip the balance in Congress, House and Senate.
In California you get 20 cents a gallon off of Chevron gas if you have Safeway points. Plus use your CVX bank credit card get 10 more cents a gallon as a retiree. I’ll also mention my Safeway bill was 2 million dollars but that’s another story. Chevron gas was cheap considering.
Buy the stock, consider the solid dividend your gas discount.
Even with the discount, Chevron gas is more expensive than other quality brands (Shell or Exxon). I figure, though, that buying Chevron gas helps pay my retirement benefits.
Sir this is a Wendy’s. Will you buy green eggs and ham?
I never have and never will buy Chevron fuel.
I can save 50 cents per gallon at the nearby Costco.
It’s a relic of days gone by. Should just discontinue it.
