Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Hello Ireland! Good Bye USA!

Charles River Development, one of the companies State Street acquired, just dumped a bunch more US employees, and moved the jobs to Ireland. Bravo State Street! Lets keep eroding the US tax base. Suggestion to people applying to State Street or one of its many satellite businesses: If you desperately need a job, take it. But start looking. IMMEDIATELY. State Street Bank is run by bean counters. They love to: purchase software companies that they can't create themselves, take what they want, toss Americans to the curb, and move jobs overseas. India was the first target, but now its Ireland. That's how they show the board of directors how great they are.

How far has your department fallen behind in work, because the work you receive from
the Indian staff, is error filled, low quality.

Has your Boss ever said " well instead of sending it back. Cann't you and your staff just fix the mistakes so our department doesn't fall behind.

Easily by far the worst company I worked for. They are moving their entire operations overseas and to very underqualified personnel, and expect those of us left to provide even basic education, not even industry knowledge.

It's not just Indian males. The Indian females are awful to deal with too. They might act like they're your friend in the beginning, but once they undeservedly get promoted from DEI initiatives, they will treat you completely different. Best way to describe it is imagine encountering a Karen, but an Indian version of it. There's zero chance with reasoning with them. They just want it their way no matter how diabolical it is.

@1dh+1jjk1xcjq - in what building do you work?

The JAB is now almost 50% Indian males(so much for pushing diversity). There are dozens if not 100s of job postings on the kitchen message boards for H1B workers and each one lists the address for an apartment building in Quincy.

I have seen very few employees with H1B in GA and GM. My teams so far have been close to 100% Americans.
When you talk about H1B workers, are these all IT teams?

Union will not work , with the outsourcing of jobs and brining in H1B workers.
There are sadly not enough U.S workers left. U.S workers are the minority at
the company.

UNION for US employees is the only thing going to save the US jobs. I would vote Union.

I think we all would like to say hello to Shy Ronnie too and get his thoughts on this matter. He must have a perfect explanation for this as the CEO of State Street Corp. Where is he hiding out these days? The new HQ? Boston North End? Florida? Where??
