Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

TAKE NOTE STATE FARM!

Look at USAA advertising. It is quality. People are willing to pay for quality and promises kept. Customers go to a five star restaurant for quality service and quality food. Insurance is not a fast "processed" food industry.

You want to know why our advertising is so bad its because marketers aren’t involved in any of it. Only leadership who doesn’t listen to anyone below them. Nobody in marketing likes their leadership, from the untrusted awkward one at the top to the ego-driven fatty who thinks she knows it all to the loud mouth with the chunky pearls and the worst taste in “designer clothes”. Time to clean house or else stop asking why morale is low and commercials are bad because you already know the answer.

Marketing managers openly acknowlege geicos advertising is great and ours is subpar. But until you replace the fat at the top and get a new ad agency, nothing will change. Get ready for more Jake BS getting shoved down our throat.

Well, it's obvious we aren't trying to lead the way. We are trying to be GEICO, USAA, and Progressive all in one. That is why this place is a cluster.

@1cta.....The post was about advertising....until it claimed that insurance is not a processed fast food business. Except that it is, and USAA “agents” are glorified call center employees just like most competitors. If you like their ads, great. But don’t try to tell me the ads prove that they are running a top notch operation.

Wake up. Go to the top of the page and click for USAA. They are having the same conversations over there that we have here. Same for Allstate, Farmers, American Family. The world has changed.
I have a cousin who just became an “agent” for USAA. She works in a call center and is evaluated by metrics.
