First year here. I know the company is doing very sh-tty. But for S&T do we get an EOY bonus? I’m not expecting anything but it would be nice

@1clt+1vuJAvWb. Yes I feel bad for people losing their income but I also have kids to feed! Myself and my family come first. Yes there are some good people I have collaborated with that lost their jobs, and I do feel for them.
Did not mean to come across as insensitive, but it was just a genuine question. Quite frankly this is not the environment where I can serve others hence why I said myself and my family comes first ;) . Lots of toxicity and people that will try to walk all over you!
Purpose of "The Layoff":
- Forum for discussion regarding people losing their lively hooded and other HR Secrets.
This Post:
- I work for S&T
- I would like everyone to know I chose not to read any clear communication from PepsiCo about bonus eligibility.
- My comments show a lack of empathy for anyone who has lost their primary source of income
Old Person's POV: I don't want to respond, but you might benefit from this.
- You work for S&T, the division that gets the most negative feedback on this forum for all of PepsiCo. That is arguably justified as the S&T work has clearly not performed. If it was working, we'd be selling more salt and sugar.
- Read what the company gives you regarding compensation. If you don't have it, as HR or go to the internal company website. Act an an owner :)
Life is tough. Have empathy. Embrace an attitude of serving others.
The inspiration/motivation:
- Focus on making everyone around you better, even if things seem bad.
- Money can make things easier, but it doesn't make you happier. (You can guess as to how I know)
- Great leaders have the vision to see beyond today. They strategically taken challenges with the help of others, and in turn, ensure everyone around them gets to the end destination.
So what are you going to do?
Good luck Kiddo.
L07 up, it's paid out around April, but need 1 full year with the company
