Been with Frito lay 30 years! Everyone knows Frito is the profit for Pepsi! They have cola wars and Frito pretty much has zero competition. Now with inflation sky high customers are eating breakfast and lunch and snacking on dinner.

@1bap+1sRTLqWV: The queen will tout, AI can do a better job in marketing. They decimated entire beverages thinking frito strategies can be applied. wrong!. Outsourcing with folks who have zero interest except to clock their time.
The pennies they saved lost all the loyaties of dedicated workers who ensured success internally and externally.

I think our senior leaders don’t know the effect of the cost-saving measures. I work every day to clean up messes and inefficiency. I feel unfulfilled at the end of the day most days. You’re viewed as negative if you point out or try to correct processes.

This all started when they changed the way they pay drivers!! They took away the incentive to expand shelf space wherever they could so it went from a sales/RSR job to a glorified merchandiser with a CDL!! Purely a product of our own money saving schemes as we changed from a professional polo and khaki driver to a constant turnover warm body wearing cutoffs and a tank top!!

You could see this coming from a mile a way.

This is a result of the current ethos within the organization where the end goal is simply to "complete the current task at hand," obtain your personal recognition for a "job well done," and then walk away before you or your team are left holding the bag. This leaves skeleton teams ill-staffed and under resourced to drive their businesses "post celebration of success," and, as a result, fast forward 4-6 months, performance naturally underwhelms.

Put another way, the company puts a premium of bringing major initiatives to closure instead of maintaining and continually investing in capabilities that drive sustainable performance - which has led to the erosion of market share that we see today.

And yet we're distributing Dr. Pepper in the south and we're not going to want to lose that. It will be interesting to see how this goes.
