Nope. Sorry. PS.. The deadline for the discount has passed.
@1b4+1jpr2afh3 There shouldn’t be any Oxy warrants in your 401k account. The warrants that were granted were sold a long time ago by the Independent Fiduciary of the plan in August 2020, a week or two after the warrants were granted. The cash proceeds from the warrants sale were invested in Oxy stock.
Warrants seem to be similar to stock options I've received in the past. Yes, the amount you receive is the current stock price minus the warrant value. This was my understanding at the time I exercised my warrants. I also had the opportunity to buy the warrants at the discounted strike price and hold. I still have lots of stock grant awards and believe that Oxy will not move materialy before the warrants expire.
The warrants were supposed to be a great benefit to investors. What happened. Is it related to the stock price. Please explain.
Has anyone figured out how to exercise their warrants held in the 401k? I called and asked the procedure for exercising. They didn’t know. Does it trigger a taxable event and how is that handled?
I think I'm going to. I like getting things at a discount and it gets me out from under the warrants also
What topics about Trumps policies good or bad would be appropriate for this forum?
They are the only thing left to exercise. Oxy employees have nothing left to sell out with.
Sugar is sweet but money is honey ;-)
Warrants are not important compared to what else is going on in this country.
Sold all of mine a long time ago.
