I’m guessing PepsiCo isn’t interested in end the DEI program. But if they did end the DEI and since the company is ran by India and other foreign personnel. Does that mean they don’t have to hire American born workers, since they are the minority??

Once asked what is the way get promoted, her secret was to lead and work the agenda of LGBTQ and show to support their cause. Yes, these are exact words of one VRP in IT Purchase who was just L8 several yrs back. What was the value of DEI when it was overrun by Indians. I am also appalled to further learn within Indians they will hire a subclass or subset.

Lest we forget that when we had a DEI CEO (IN herself) & the company was on a fast track to doom. She was the start of it before DEI was a thing. Hiring her peeps from India and cheaper labor from Mexico. Laying off people left and right, VRP packages, etc. It's great that women can become CEOs now, but if it's because they want to push DEI, it can sometimes come with more cons than pros. Let's get back to basics of you get the job because of your experience, knowledge and education, not because your gender, s-xual preference or any of that other nonsense. I hope DEI is heading to RIP.

We had to wait to eat dinner for this women only meeting after all day meetings. Disgusting! What did they say to make her tell me this?
Also, if you are black or a brown woman, bonus, you get to go to two racist meetings.
If I was in a white only meeting, I’d feel like it was not team oriented to say the least or healthy for a company culture. The point, right? These folks are silent right? Hispanic teams? Racist. If there is a white buyer do we need a white team?

The DEI crowd comments on here reflect what they really think of white Americans despite the fact we are the most open and tolerant people on the planet. There is no DEI in India or many countries. Rightfully so. Help your own citizens suceed.

They have become way too large and influential in our culture. It feels like an enemy owns them based on their behavior towards Americans and our culture.

The leadership of the company have quotas on how many of certain races and gender can be promoted at every level in their PDRs and how many of each race/gender they want to promote during people planning. They decide who gets promoted/hired based on their gender and race OR doesn’t all the way at the top. I’ve even heard that there’s a kicker bonus for managers who promote individuals that improve their DEI targets, especially certain groups and levels. They’ve gone as far as paying 100s of thousands, sometimes millions, to relocate people from other countries on H1Bs to meet these targets when there are plenty of talented experienced Americans that would be better at those jobs. It’s insane. They then try to stay out of legal trouble by saying they are goals, not quotas. Saying you want safe roads is a goal. Saying you want x tickets monthly is a quota. What PepsiCo leadership has been doing is blatantly un-American, discriminatory, illegal. Eventually, under the Trump administration, it’ll catch up to them.
People need to be hired/promoted on skills and qualifications only. Skin color should have nothing to do with it. Using skin color as a deciding factor is racist. HR has more than once directed me to hire a lesser qualified POC due to DEI and improving thier diversity numbers. This is toxic and racist and isn't "Geriatric white men"

I would love for it to be cut. Plenty of new incompetent college hires who are hired mainly because of their appearance rather than another candidate who is far more skilled.
