The payroll process has begun moving to managers. They are now the ones processing payroll. It is a disaster.

@14fuf+1kt16GXA as an admin, I have been waiting since 2020 for my job to be fully outsourced. They keep us around for now because they need our knowledge until they get everything where they want it to be.

Any admin position that can be moved to Mexico or India, will be moved. The company is bragging about how well they are doing, performance wise, and part of that was to move 6500 positions across PepsiCo and Frito Lay out of the US. The only thing that can save US admins is either penalties for out sourcing or incentives to not out source. They think they will get the same results out sourcing because they will pay way less in wages and probably no benefits, than they pay US employees. Well, maybe they wouldn’t have to pay US employees so much if the US employees didn’t have to pay for everyone else (I.e. illegal aliens flooding across our border, foreign aid to countries that hate us, money to the Ukraine so out president can funnel it right back to his own pockets and so forth). The bottom line is MONEY. Not people that have given the best years of their lives. Presently or previously.

@3xnq+1kt16GXA I can tell you for FLNA, they are going to have district managers submitting payroll directly to GBS/MBS From what I hear this will start after superbowl. currently the district managers are submitting forms on teams, going forward they will submit to payroll directly. No need for a payroll/HR admin

Are they simply replacing admins with Indians in GBS, or do they really expect LG4+s to manage and execute admin tasks?

I am in payroll. I am thinking they are keeping us around until the end of 2024 when they stop matching the pension. I will have a new role this year training management on payroll. They need us to train, then we will get let go at the end of 2023/beginning 2024. I am not sure if I am correct on this, but it is a feeling I get. When asked what we will be doing this year, HR couldn't give an answer
