Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Human First? …Unless you work here.

They exploited the slogan. They leaned on the hearts of the people who brought real impact. And the moment the market shifted, so did their humanity.

In every chapter of history where people have been mistreated, there have always been a few good ones who sounded the alarm. And to those of you doing that now -thank you. Your courage matters.

Good can still change a system built to harm. Strikes are hard to organize, but resistance doesn’t always need a sign. Sometimes it just takes people who refuse to keep playing along.

If we stop contributing to harm — if we stand when we see it, push back when asked to carry it out, and stay rooted in human decency we begin to change the game.

It might seem small. But every system that’s ever shifted began with a few people who said: enough.

Focus all your energy on being the hero not the villain. Align your voice and your power with what’s right. That arbitration agreement? It’s not ironclad. And the toxic conditions they’ve created? That’s exactly the kind of thing that gets silencing contracts thrown out of court.

So fight it. Call the news stations (not local they won’t go up against a company this big). Email journalists. Contact your senators. The FAIR Act. Report to the DOL and EEOC. Sound the alarm. Do it together.

Because here’s what no one’s saying: in the end, most of us will lose something. Even the ones who feel “safe” today. So what if you used this to fight for something bigger tomorrow?

What if this moment changed your children’s future so they never have to bow to greed, trade their worth for a paycheck, or stay silent to survive?

Human First? …Unless you work here.

This will terrify them, and not because they care. But because noise threatens the only thing they protect: profit.

Notice something. Layoffs are always quiet. Always wrapped in the language of “business needs.” Always sanitized. Justified. Shrugged off.

But here’s what no one’s saying:

Google every layoff since 2020. Now search for lawsuits filed against Medical Solutions for mistreatment, retaliation, discrimination, or wage theft.
Pay attention.

March 3rd, 2025 — civil rights lawsuit was settled. And just like clockwork, layoffs followed.

You’ll see a pattern.

Every time Medical Solutions settles a lawsuit, a layoff follows within months. Coincidence?

Or is it a system that punishes good, hardworking employees for the bravery of the few who stand up to its injustice ? A system that protects itself not by doing better, but by quietly removing those who remind it of what it did wrong.

And now, their position has weakened. There are cracks in the foundation and light is beginning to pierce through the corruption.

So what do they do?

They pivot. Not to accountability. Not to healing.

But to dehumanization.

They move operations to countries with lower labor protections. They choose to exploit the Philippines where they can pay far less, silence far more, and be held accountable far less often.

Because when the truth gets too loud here, they outsource the harm somewhere quieter.

But injustice doesn’t become less cruel just because it’s offshored. It only becomes less visible.

And that’s exactly the point.

Be loud. Be relentless. Be unignorable.

“Human First” is not a slogan. It’s a standard. And they don’t get to we-ponize it while treating people like numbers on a spreadsheet.

The literal definition of abuse and dehumanization of employees, Healthcare facilities and Healthcare workers. Their financial trouble was large enough they should have just sold out, instead of selling souls to the Phillippinnes and WRS & threatening employment if we didnt train them to replace us and our teams. Healthcare workers know NOT to travel with them, and only do so for wages. Sacrificing their own humanity, like we have had to do to provide for our families. Medical Solutions will disappear but should have saved us humans the abuse and neglect and just sold out. Selfish, inhumane and failing. Justice will be served.

It’s not like the old CEO left because he didn’t like the direction the company was going. Pretty sure he didn’t leave by choice.

That might be true for the last 2 years of layoffs. But that doesn't explain the previous layoffs BEFORE covid even was a thing. The company has been in financial trouble even before covid. This is like the 2nd to 3rd time this company has had major layoffs in the past 5-8 years if you weren't aware of that. That also doesn't even include the numerous lawsuits the company also got smacked with for all different reasons. The company has been a sh-t show for many many years. The only difference is now it's become more public and the company can't hide from the horrible reputation it's created.

It's like a narcissist trying to convince the world that the mask it's wearing is real (For example: all the "great" posts on LinkedIn/social media the company keeps trying to convince the world of who they think they are). The manipulation, gaslighting, scare/abuse tactics they have used during the layoffs, the company values that they preach on and expect us to follow/uphold but will turn around and be vile themselves, etc. It's literally like an abusive relationship just with a toxic company instead of an actual relationship.

All the signs have been there. Now whether people wanted to believe it is a different story. But the "mask" has fallen off this company. There's no denying it anymore.

Anyone who has encountered a narcissist or knows anything about narcissism will understand the deeper meaning behind what I just explained.

Really? That “old CEO” that “left in tears” is the reason the company is in this position to begin with. The new “liberal” CEO is doing what he didn’t want to stick around and do, which is the dirty work of recovery.

What’s happening now doesn’t gave a single thing to do with politics. The company overspent and overhired during COVID, and didn’t see how quickly the wave it was riding on was going to drop when it was over. Period. It happens all the time, regardless of industry. So quit blaming it on political leanings and either pull up your bootstraps and deal with it, do your 30 days if you got a notice or leave.

They are hiring alot from the Philippines. Replacing Americans for an American company now. No wonder the old CEO and founder was in tears when he left his position. He knew what was coming with this new liberal CEO.
