Just wondering if anyone noticed any patterns in this round of layoffs? for example, whether certain groups seemed disproportionately affected, such as women, LGBTQ+ employees, employees over 40/50, racial or ethnic minorities, people of certain national origins or religions, pregnant employees, employees with disabilities or undergoing medical treatment, or anyone who had previously raised concerns, reported issues, discussed working conditions with coworkers, or engaged in other protected activity?

@OP The common pattern in all RIFs under FLD has been the use of fear and intimidation. By randomizing who is nixed keeps everybody guessing and in order.
@as how many in india?
@b3 Yes, they have the right to fire anyone as long as it doesn't create a pattern which shows EEOC violations like asking older employees about their retirement plans.
@12m f5 views internal testing as a waste of time and resources that eats into quarterly profit. Testing is left for the customer to do for the product At the current rate of about 150 Bugzilla submitted bugs a day f5 might have time to fix 8 of the 150 reported daily
I came across three people who were laid off and all of them from testing background. I was also laid off, and you guessed it right, i am from testing.
@bm yes they do ignore the kaw And never mind if your spouse is currently under going cancer treatment
@OP I don't know about this round of layoffs, but last year's round included 3 women who had just returned from maternity leaved and others who had been asked about their retirement plans. The current upper management clearly ignores employment law.
@b3 f5 is doomed
@OP Those decisions are reserved for the silent layoffs, right to work states mean right to be fired for any old bs
