Over the past month I personally know of about a dozen layoffs and “involuntary retirements” taking place plus others in previous months. I’ve only been at NM a year and don’t know too many outside of my area and am wondering if there are a lot of “silent layoffs” around the company or is it just a coincidence that I’ve seen so many in my small circle. Is the company downsizing without announcing it?

At Leadership Exchange today, TG and KC confirmed that there will be "adjustments" to some areas of the company as they are going to prioritize a few goals and put less emphasis or pauses on others.
@5p1+1jrzpm9x7 DG confirmed today there was an announcement coming but with AA's departure they are going to revisit said strategy again and announce it at a later date.
Is this legit, a new staffing strategy? Would it only affect tech? I haven’t heard about anything in the works but on the other hand transparency isn’t much of a thing at NM.
So even more dirt cheap Indians and less Americans then?

They've been doing it for years now. I was laid off last year after eight years. I got did dirty, too. But, that be NM.

Hearing company wide tightening, cause soft sales forecasted for the remainder of 2025. Contractors ASAP, employees end of June, freezing / rapid slowing of new hires.

when incompetent people like AA are moved to the side (and their days are numbered) DG’s trusted people like KS can get the truth and remove trash …

How can we layoff Mia when she is asking such asinine questions during town halls like what makes a good field advisor? Then we have Selfie Susie posting on Slack all day yapping more than her little dog does. Assuming HR and leadership are reading these posts, can you please do something about these losers? It's time to take out this trash as they are ki-ling morale.

It’s called getting fired for not being great at their job. And generally the people who get fired would prefer to leave with some dignity.
Yea, seems this has been happening a lot the past couple years as the desk job labor market has rapidly deteriorated
