Jobs after recent Intel ISP
Have folks found jobs after ISP? Wondering how was their experience. Serious answers please no trolls. Has anyone got contract job with Intel again after ISP?
Does Intel restructure/layoff/redeploy? Which of these happen on a regular basis? We all know they mean different things.
Also does it happen across the board or just in teams of falling businesses? In other words if the server business is doing good and IoT is new, I'd assume either people from other departments get redeployed to these. And no cuts in dcg and IoT? Or... — read more
Now since Intel combined the mobile and PC (laptop desktop and others) into CCG (client computing group)..
It is getting difficult to get an insight into it's mobile computing group. How long can the company keep suffering losses. It will eventually shut down its atom line at some point. I dont think Intel x86 architecture can beat ARM chip makers. Will... — read more

Intel VSPs are really stupid
Frequent VSPs have been very bad for morale and only the valuable, high performing employees accept the package. Not sure why the Intel execs think these VSPs are a good idea versus just having one layoff and moving on.
Next FOCAL, there will be nightmares for managers and HR
This layoff is politically motivated and appears to be all part of the so called "far-reaching diversity initiative, promising to hire, promote and retain more women and underrepresented minorities" that was announced in Jan 2015 -... — read more
