If you trust the company, why? if you don't trust the company, where else would you go? Or would you stay and hang in there?
Thanks good I left Intel already
Got IR this year. Had feeling that manager is picking up on every minor thing for the last few months (now i know it was done to justify IR and fill their quota), although everybody including me were working their as*es off. Did ODI just for the hack... — read more
Did Intel forget to submit the required WARN Act notice?
I have looked on both the California and Oregon department of labor sites and could not find any notices from Intel. Are they breaking federal law by not notifying the states that there will be layoffs?
Hiring freeze?
Just heard one of the manager talking on the phone. "Your interview is cancelled, because we are kind of on a hiring freeze. But you still can come to Portland, your hotel and car are paid for. But we won't be conducting interview".
You know why Intel always fails when it tries to build out its wireless business?
Intel doesn't have any in house experience. And so it ends up hiring top dollars to hire people from renowned wireless companies like Qualcomm, Broadcom etc thonk ng its getting the best talent from those companies. Reality is that Intel ends up... — read more
I dont understand why Intel would hire murthy from Qualcomm to fck up Intel's wireless business....
It seems like Intel was already doing a pretty good job fvcking up the wireless business without needing any help. Why would Intel want to pay someone else to fck it up even more? But thank you for taking murthy away from Qualcomm. If you want more... — read more

Intel missed the boat by not buying Broadcom before avago did. Instead, Intel decided to buy
macafee. Intel doesn't know sh-- about software. Hahahaha
Intel is going to fail miserably with their LTE chips and connectivity chips. Why? Just ask any ex-Broadcom people that went there.
And you'll hear how fvcked up things are at Intel, yes even in the San Diego location.

Intel - The culture of NO!!
Here is a list of projects that went no where because of management incompetence: Remember the big plans for going into the cloud business as a service? Intel head honcho's were scared to do this and compete with their own customers (Amazon). Big... — read more

Intel's layoffs demonstrate ongoing managerial incompetence and maliciousness
Everyone has seen the downturn in PC spending coming for years. But the "holy crap!" fear that PCs are going away is absurd. Intel's revenues remain strong with declining PC revenue offset by servers and emerging IoT. Employee reductions could have... — read more

How would you fix Intel?
Since we all rant quite a bit here on layoffs.com let's be a bit constructive - outline your fix in this thread.
Doesn't Intel management realize this is a big reason for schedule hits, in itself?
