Will I be offered VSP?
1 year at Intel Grade 7, I have successful rating and SSL 4,
what are my chances, I have just completed a year at Intel and I received Successful rating as I am still ramping up and have SSL 4 what are my chances of getting laid off
Is the Length of Service (LOS) pay only increment of 2 years?
If I had 3 years and 9 months, will I not be pro-rated for all of it? Or just 2 years?
Will I get VSP or ERP? SL4 (2014). SS3 (2015), SS3 (2016) all successful. I meet the rule of 75.
Just worried I will get VSP instead of ERP. I will take the ERP if offered. I am a manger and I do not want to hand out crappy reviews for the rest of my time at Intel.
2011-2014 all EEs. (But ssl4 in 2015/2016. Have lots of proof that ssl4 in 2016 is not justified? Can I initiate an open door?
Earlier some well wishers on this thread suggested that I possibly should start an open door tomorrow. Thanks a lot for that thought (whoever suggested it). But can it put me in risk for receiving the $$$$ package? Does anyone know of any prior ISP... — read more
Are the VSP/ISP packages taxed at normal rate?
Are VSP/ISP's taxed at your regular tax rate? A colleague once told me they were taxed like a bonus.. closer to 50% since they are like a bonus and not regular payroll. Can anybody who's received this before confirm?
Planed operation on Monday
I have a surgery planed for Monday. Will they come to hospital to lay me off? My wife says they could do conference call after my surgery.
What happens if you meet both Enhanced Retirement as well as ISP criteria?
I am already eligible for retirement by the 55+15 rule and will be eligible on August 10 by the 75 rule. But I meet the ISP criteria (3 consecutive SSL4 with Successful). What happens in my case? I already have a 1:1 scheduled on Monday! What do I... — read more
How are recent hires affected?
I joined as an RCG only in June 2015, got successful SSL3 at my very first focal this year. Am I safe? Are new people more expendable because they lack experience and haven't quite had a chance to prove themselves yet? How will the new people be... — read more
ISP do you get 8 weeks pay plus the LOS payment?
Conflicting messages on here about payment - The leaked foil says ISP will be 8 weeks pay, plus LOS, plus medical, but another poster on here didn't mention the LOS for ISP just the 8 weeks and medical care. Surely they will get LOS too?
ISP and VSP packages same?
Are the packages same for ISP and VSP?
Updates to ACTHub.intel.com as or noonish PST Sunday
Looks like they posted layoff timing dates for LAR & GAR. See ACTHub.intel.com And no, I'm not posting internal info to an external site here. If you are an Intel employees you have the ability to see for yourselves.
The ISP, VSP, ERP criteria from someone in HR
ISP: On the list are people who received a IR, BE, or S SL4, S SL5 in this past 2016 focal unless received a EE or O in 2015 focal. Does not apply to new hires hired after Jan 1 2015. Applies to all of Intel all countries all groups, including site... — read more
Is it legal to count time off against you?
Can they actually give SL4/5 just because you took sabbatical or medical leave ? Isn't that illegal? If so, why HR is not strictly advising these incompetent clown managers before every focal process ?
Medical Leave
I fit into ISP criterion. but am on medical leave 'til end of the month. What are they going to do?
Almost the start of Monday's work day in ATM..
Interesting if anyone posts early data... They also could wait and use the US folks as initial targets..
Layoff machine
Intel layoff machine is getting more enhanced every year. This year brings SSL4/5, site closure, site consolidation, 3 successful and no exceed/outstanding, ISP, VSP, Enhance retirement, and layoffs. They have set up a system to yearly clean house... — read more
Get this forum's link out to the media...
people should start sharing the link to this forum to as many places as possible, leak it out to mainstream press. Seems like a lot of ees are on here sharing stories among each other, wouldn't it be great if the rest of the world knew what Intel ees... — read more
Class law suit
Let's all together file a lawsuit . I don't need money but I do want to pay for unethical practices it does . I am pretty sure Intel still has understandings with other companies not to poach . Plus the companies fires unethically . We need to meet... — read more
unethical practices by managers
My manager seems to have count my sabbatical and time off against me and gave SL4, SL4 even when I don't deserve it. now it's costing me my job. He knows in his heart that he is doing me Wrongly. I hope GOD is watching him, and he will suffer for... — read more
Site closures Dupont site - Will there be any focal/stock based ISP this round for this site? Or is everyone safe?

Can I sue?
My manager is a chronic moron (pl. suggest the strongest word I can use here). Even though I did wonderful job, he gave me SL4 2 years in a row. When they hand out ISP to me, can I not take it and say I need to talk to my lawyer ?
Advise to RCGs who have a job offer
Sincere suggestion, look for another job in a different company. Present Intel does not deserve you! I joined intel design team in 2013 and have consistently got EE/O, but after all this s**t, I will leave this hell hole. Who does put money on TV... — read more

Hired in Dec 2015. Ssl5/successful. Will I be impacted by ISP?
I was hired in Dec 2015 and worked just for 15 days in 2015. I didn't even fill a focal review for the year but was given a default rating of SSL5 in the month of march. Will I be impacted as part of the ISP?
Need feedback on my interpretation.
In bullet # 3 of the leaked slide it states that if you got SSL4 or 5 in 2016 with no Outstanding and Exceeds ratings in 2015/16 you are eligible for layoff. What I'm reading into is the word ratings, with an S. Is anyone else taking that as you... — read more
