11% seems like 50%

So if Intel is cutting to the bone and exiting small sites and cancelling projects and closing orgs left and right and this is only 11%, what does the other 89% of the company do?

Posts on this site...

My analysis: 10% - useful thoughtful posts and responses 50% - disgruntled trolls stirring the pot 30% - media/competitors fishing for insider info 10% - drunk, racist, political wackjobs Wish there was a more reliable outlet.

Lies, lies, lies from my Intel manager

My manager, a director, called me on Tuesday this week. He tells me he is eliminating my job. However, yesterday, he sent out an email to the program stakeholders showing his new org chart. He lists me as the program manager and makes no indication... — read more

BK! Thanks for the ISP.

I'm going to spend next six months or so hanging around on street corners giving knobbers for $1 a pop until I get my self-esteem back.

One of the reason Intel fail

Is the engineers are prohibited to talk to the customers directly. Critical information exchange is slow and very difficult. I know in theory there is the Runda route and there are Application Engineers who can bridge the communications, but in... — read more

Ok if bk wants to play the diversity card

Let's have a breakdown of nationalities of reports against nationality ofof hiring manager. I see entirely Chinese and Indian groups at Intel. Let's get some real diversity here

Appendix A said it all.

Intel is going toe to toe with the US government and my hat is off to them. Intel had to outsource to survive back in 2005. Tech companies were charged a 35% tax for all money earned overseas, so that money stayed overseas. When Obama was elected... — read more

VSP, ISP, ERP, I don't get this.

You just received a VSP, an ISP or an ERP and you worry about taking it or getting rehired. Really? The company you work for just told you that you are not wanted and to GTFO. And you want to stay there? I would get rid of you just because you are... — read more
