OK geniuses. What would you do differently than BK?
Keep in mind that PCs are dinosaurs and the REASON for all of the layoffs is that people aren't buying these anymore.
Does anyone know if they are 'rounding up' the number of years tables for ISP/VSP payouts?
for example, the table says 27 weeks payout for 18-20 years, and so on? Does anyone know if they have been rounding up for people who worked say 19.5+ years? (or others on the border for any years on the table).
Is Co-Location Still Going On?
I am working in SC, but parts of my team are widely scatted across multiple geo's and time zones. Are there still co-location efforts going on? Can I sleep easier at night? Any details on what's being offered?

The reason Intel got so bloated and over staffed
was managerial lack of focus. Starting/stopping/changing too many initiatives and staffing them to the hilt, then going nowhere in terms of results. Excerpt from another post. (So true)!!!! I still see this going on and on and on and on.

How Intel Should Handle Older Workers
I'm 63 and believe it or not, survived the recent purge. No ERP (darn it) nor VSP nor ISP. But here's what I believe has happened and what should happen in the future: Intel wants to bring in fresh young blood - I have no problem with that. At the... — read more

I heard layoffs are part of Capitalism. Then why BK and many VPs still around?

Intel does has a problem with URM and hiring and retaining. With 60% of America being Caucasian Americans I'd expect this under represented majority to be hired and retained.
