Double Count of Revenues?

Would not be surprised if this was happening over recent years, and new CFO stopped this after he took over.. The SEC would have a field day if this is true... 🤔

What else is left?

Some of us felt that Intel’s best hope to escape x86 prison involved successfully expanding into technologically-adjacent markets — either the GPU market or the mobile processor market. It seems that we’ve done multiple “try/fail/bail” loops in the... — read more

20% who’s watching the place? 80% should be fired

Dave Zisner on reorg: Prune portfolio in low ROI areas, internal foundry model (two P&Ls) will increase efficiency (in some cases Intel had 20% equipment uptime vs. best-in-class 80%) Seriously where is the accountability? Seriously has the Board... — read more

Get rid of all nepotism hires

There are plenty of those at Intel and getting rid of every single one of them would not affect work or results at all. Keep those who care about their jobs and who got where they are through hard work and knowledge. Doing it the other way around... — read more

Any news for Oregon?

Been wondering if there's been layoffs in Oregon these past couple of weeks. I work for MSO and it's been quiet so far, leaders trying to cut expenses all over the place and accepting volunteers to go.

Leadership is "great" at one thing

Intel has managed quite successfully to keep layoffs out of the media eye. Small layoffs that last for an extended period of time are happening under the radar. Despite that, I don't believe that the company's reputation has ever been this bad.

Who/what is most to blame for Intel's downfall?

Tolerating freeloaders

The main problem of this company is that people are bloody incompetent and lazy. Simple 15 minute stuff take bloody month and you end up without automation. I hate seeing it. When I came to US I saw how wrong it is in all ways. About 50% of staff... — read more

IOT Gone

TL used to compare himself with Nvidia CEO, claiming to be equally talented. What a loser, squandered great opportunity for Intel in IOT segment. Complete lack of vision, poor execution, destroyed acquisitions.

Funny to see the charlatans suddenly showing up

Decline is no coincidence

Knowledgeable and capable people used to be really valued here. Now that that's not the case anymore, there is no need to look for other reasons for Intel's decline. These looming layoffs are just another example of how much we are not respected... — read more

No more layoffs until 2023

PG wants to be Santa instead of Grinch. It also means he would like to knows if you've been nice or naughty in the past year, with the help of HR.
