Not to rub salt in a wound but based on the most recent comments posted today, it sounds like topic of the all-hands meeting was that the companies not doing so well and everyone must take a pay cut?
I learnt something today
Afterall, base pay is not the floor. I have never gone through this experience and always equated base pay almost as min wage. Nothing will happen to base pay. Bonuses might go away, but base pay is the floor. Not really.

What I dont understand
How the he-l did ELT didnt see this coming. What was that exuberance of crazy hiring that they went on to do in last 2 years. Last quarter they said this is the bottom only to find out Q4 went further down. And while Intel is eager to call Q4 as... — read more

Terrible Distribution for Paycuts
Yes, Paycuts suck. I'm in disbelief. Been here a long time. Stock is where it was in 1998 and so we are drained of liquidity there and then bonus gone and base pay cut. What ? Even the amount of paycuts. Why is CEO taking only 25% paycut ? I... — read more

Still placing the words "corporate" and "values" in the same sentence?
To my ex-Intel-indoctrinated friends. In the real world, we use CEOs' last names, not their initials and the turm fubar is usually only used by disgruntled military personnel. You're showing a lack of self-direction. The ship is sinking... Jump.

Just asking... You look like overpaid ballast to me. Most of you could be fired without anybody noticing!
Everything could have been much better
Intel didn't go on a downward spiral just recently, this place has been very misdirected for a very long time. That is why it is not possible to easily turn around some things and fix this mess. I started looking for another job and I believe... — read more
