Zovio (formerly Bridgepoint) has been a big player in the subprime college crash and the US College Meltdown. And even though its big moneymaker Ashford University took a beating from Senator Harkin, it continued.

To add to this argument, the co-founder of ZVO/BPI, the born again hornplayer, was also a student of John Sperling. The guy has had his influence in a few messes, including the Dream Center.

Another protege was TN, whose influence spread like an illness from Apollo to EDMC to CECO.

Admittedly, there have been many others involved in the subprime college crash and the US College Meltdown. Elite schools have had a major influence, especially through finance. But that does not take way the significant influence of UoPX.
Own it. Use it to reform the school, instead of watching it slide into the abyss.
