@nbe you need to be careful with Glassdoor. They make money by posting jobs and by selling page access to HR departments of large companies. There is a pricelist floating on the web, I think it's 50K to 100K per company per year just for page access (that's why our page on Glassdoor is branded and neat - that's why you see WMT's replies to our messages there). Anyhow, as expected, we are the biggest customer.
So, Glassdoor follows the proverbial "customer first" logic - you and me and that guy that does research on recruiting are just fodder to them...
Your best bet is social media and here on layoff.com - people know Glassdoor is biased, so this would be like an alternative source of info. Granted, there is ton of #negativity here but you will find some #gold nuggets as well...
