Any Idea when the layoffs are expected to happen?
Reading through comments on yammer and other posts, I've heard tomorrow and also the 22nd as dates floated around but is there any real idea from anyone? Have also heard one or two people say that next week was a mandatory be-in office week?
About 700 hourly workers are transferring from Detroit-Hamtramck and Lordstown to other plants
I feel for these people, as the company unmercifully played them. What were they gonna do, sell their houses, buy new ones, maybe get another mortgage? Can't help but to think there was another way of doing this. The sad thing is that there is more... — read more

GM IT
I agree all the fault is on management. Managers need the ability to get rid of people. Hire fast, fire fast. We fired one person on our team a few years ago... Took 6 months of painful documentation. Hiring to meet a metric still goes on. GM IT is... — read more
Unpopular opinion: These layoffs were needed

Atlanta Layoffs
Any idea how many people or percent were let go in Atlanta?
I guess we are paying for this bit of good news for GM
