Why is he still employeed?

Let's be honest there are a lot of low or average performers that need to be let go. Getting rid of them will only make us leaner and better prepared for when prices recover.

That's a lot of people doing a whole lot of nothing.

I have a buddy that is close to the CEO and he told him that Devon is doing layoffs this year. He thinks it may be in Q1. Sorry for the bad news folks.
