New hire offers rescinded

Apparently alot of the new hires who were suppose to start this year got there offers rescinded yesterday if they had not started yet.

Which date is it?

Some have said conference rooms are booked Oct. 5, but the e-mail today said 60 day notification. If we got that e-mail, does that mean Nov. 1?
