Disappointing to see so many expats still taking Americans' jobs.
As I walk through the halls, I ask myself, "How can there still be so many Canadians, Venezuelans, Nigerians, Arabs, etc. working here, when Americans were laid off that were just as qualified and could have filled these spots?" I know they kept the... — read more

A $1.5 billion loss...
A $1.5 billion loss equates to almost $100,000/employee. This is insane. With these types of losses, what type of layoffs should we expect? On top of this, if these losses continue, how much longer can the company survive?
Obviously Conoco is doing all the right things to survive the downturn in oil prices however painful it maybe!
Next they need to shut down Bartlesville and shut down the 30th St. office in Farmington New Mexico to continue to reduce cost! Move all of the support services including engineering to Houston!

With education funding in Oklahoma at lowest level it will become more difficult to attract employees to Bville who want to live there and raise kids in the town. Just don't see other peer companies supporting two staff locations.
