Where can I find the restricted stock agreement? Is it on the stock dashboard?
Buyout
I think uncle ichabod would sell the bejeezus out of this company if there were a buyer.
To 5050 Re: Restricted Stock - Change of Control
Yes your stock would completely vest in the event of a buyout once change of control is complete. It's written in your Restricted Stock agreement. Don't count on it happening anytime soon as balance sheet is getting cleaned up for a potential deal... — read more
We Are Chesapeake
Sold off in pieces? But my free tshirt say we're here to stay.
Unless they chop shop everything (Uncle Carl's fave). Isn't a takeover if busted up and sold off in pieces.
Easier to get a lifeboat before the boat sinks...
RESTRICTED STOCk question
Does anyone know what happens to our restricted stock if the company gets bought out? Do the shares vest? I have heard they do but can't find confirmation anywhere. If they do, that might be the only good reason to stick around.
5048 speaks the truth. Best idea is to get money in account then withdraw it all or transfer to another bank.
Then wait 2 more days and drop the hammer and let the smoke of your tires in parking garage be your last appearance... Do not transfer to another account in same bank.
Attention: if you are planning on resigning after the bonus...
DO NOT turn your resignation in on Friday 3-7-14. CHK has been known to clawback bonus payments from people who have resigned on the bonus payment day. Don't learn the hard way. Wait until your account no longer says "pending" with that deposit.
Today's Question.
What would you do with a million dollars?
Employment offers
I took the call, best thing I ever did. Look even those still loyal to the company are bitter to fellow workers. I've got no issues being loyal to new management or whoever your paycheck is coming from but when you turn sour toward your fellow... — read more

Chesapeake job responsibilities
Well look, I already told you! I deal with the goddamn contractors so the engineers don't have to! I have people skills! I am good at dealing with people! Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?
Before we do anything, to include posting on this board we must ask ourselves "Is it GOOD for the COMPANY?".
We will be posting banners with this question all over campus.

No wonder this company is suffering... I have heard FROM A VERY GOOD SOURCE that engineers here can make over 60,000 a year... No wonder they had layoffs if they are paying employees so much all these year
